- Can I change tiers later?
- Anytime. Upgrading is instant — new features unlock immediately and Stripe prorates the cost. Downgrading is reversible: tier-specific data stays preserved so re-upgrading restores access. The only thing that can't cross a downgrade is feature CREATE (e.g. you can keep reading audit logs on Team after downgrade from Enterprise, you just can't configure new audit rules).
- What happens after the 14-day Lighty MAX Preview?
- Your workspace stays on Free Forever automatically — no card required, no read-only grace state, no archival countdown. Lighty MAX features (deeper diagnose, resource-levelling, no daily AI cap) revert to the Free quotas. Upgrade to Pro any time to keep MAX.
- Do you bill annually?
- Yes. Annual billing saves 20% across every tier. Monthly billing is the default; switch to annual in the Stripe Customer Portal whenever you want.
- How does seat counting work?
- A seat = an active editor that logs in during the billing period. Executive sponsors (read-only) do not consume editor seats. Free Forever includes 1 seat; Pro starts at 1 editor and scales; Team requires 3 editors minimum; Enterprise is sized for 50+ seat orgs.
- What does the consultancy add-on do?
- It turns Lighthouse into a consultancy-ready platform: first-class clients, per-discipline rate cards, per-client P&L reporting, and a read-only client portal. Available as +A$15/seat/month on Pro or Team; bundled free with Enterprise.
- Is my data secure?
- Every row is scoped to your organisation at the database layer — even a buggy query can't read across customers. Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Daily off-site backups. Enterprise contracts can add an audit log, custom uptime SLA, and SSO integration as part of negotiated scope. We never train AI on your data. Full detail at /security.
